Canine mRNA Immunotherapy — Participating Cities in China (9 Cities)

The canine personalized mRNA immunotherapy IIT study is currently enrolling at 12 partner hospitals in 9 cities across China: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Shenyang, Chengdu, and Chongqing. Specific partner hospital information is provided during enrollment evaluation; owners can complete sampling, injections, and follow-up in their own city.

Enrollment process (4 steps)

📍 Step 1 Self-check
Confirmed or highly suspected malignancy (solid tumor/lymphoma) + upcoming surgery planned (or tissue already properly frozen) + acceptable overall condition + willingness to complete informed consent and follow-up. Excluded: T-cell lymphoma, brain tumors.

📍 Step 2 Contact the study team
Message WeChat petcura with your pathology report. The team matches you with a partner hospital in your city — this is not "bypassing your vet": the study team connects with your primary veterinarian, who assesses eligibility and executes the protocol.

📍 Step 3 Assessment & sampling
After your veterinarian confirms feasibility: enrollment assessment (pathology confirmation, LNP tolerance screening, health/blood work, informed consent). On surgery day, fresh tumor tissue + paired normal tissue are collected and shipped cold chain — surgery day is the critical sampling window.

📍 Step 4 Sequence → customize → inject → follow-up
Pathology confirmation → RNA sequencing + neoantigen analysis → custom mRNA formulation (~7–9 weeks) → 8-dose injection schedule and follow-up assessment.

Costs

Owners bear a small portion of sampling/sequencing service costs; design and manufacturing of the custom mRNA formulation are fully funded by PETcura as sponsor. Full cost structure is explained during enrollment by the study team and your veterinarian.
